Attempts to “pacify” the conflict with Russia will end up with Moscow once again invading Ukrainian territory, Alexey Danilov said.
The war in Ukraine against Russian aggression cannot “freeze” and its outcome cannot be postponed in the future by the new “Minsk agreements”.
This was stated by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC), Aleksey Danilov, the website of the Council’s reports.
In his opinion, the current war cannot be “frozen” because sooner or later Russia will intervene again on Ukrainian soil.
“Each country has its own interest in this war, but it is necessary to avoid the condition of “Minsk-3″, our society will not ignore it,” said the NSDC secretary.
He also added that the terms of the previous agreements in Minsk were completely unacceptable.
He also emphasized that some of the Western partners believe that it is necessary to negotiate with Russian President Vladimir Putin because of the sharp increase in gas prices.
“Our citizens give their lives, the price paid by Ukrainians as a nation is very expensive for us … Now we are talking about the whole of Europe. Ukraine is a border, and if not we rejected the Russian invasion on February 24, their tanks are Warsaw, Vilnius and other European cities,” said Danilov.
Earlier, Danilov said that the result of Russia’s war against Ukraine is the decolonization of the aggressor state.
