EU to hold emergency meeting on ‘energy war’ with Russia

“We are in an energy war with Russia, and this is detrimental to the entire EU. In agreement with the European Commission and the Prime Minister, I propose to convene an extraordinary meeting of the EU Energy Council as soon as possible,” wrote Sikela on Twitter.

In this regard, the Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala wrote Twitterthat his country is “convening an urgent meeting of energy ministers to discuss concrete emergency measures to resolve the energy situation.”
