The WHO claims a 21% reduction in monkeypox cases

Since the end of April, more than 45,000 cases of monkeypox infection have been confirmed in 98 countries around the world. At the same time, 98% of all infections in the past month were recorded in the countries of America (60%) and Europe (38%).

And in early August, US authorities declared monkeypox a public health emergency.
