The former representative of the Kherson Regional Council was notified of suspicion of high infidelity and cooperation activities. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, a representative from the HLE of the Kherson Regional Council of VII convocation joined the organization and holding of mass events in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region in support of Russia and the occupying forces, calling on the residents in the region to comply and accept the “Russian world”.
The suspect voluntarily took the position of head of the aggressor-created state occupation administration in one of the communities in the temporarily occupied part of the region.
For high treason and collaboration activities, the suspect faces life imprisonment with confiscation of assets.
