In the Rivne region, from April 13, it is again allowed to sell alcohol – from 11:00 to 16:00. This decision was made by the Regional Defense Council, taking into account the experience of other regions and economic feasibility, Vitaliy Koval, head of the Rivne Regional State Administration, said on Wednesday.
According to him, last year more than 19 million hryvnias were received from excise tax from the sale of alcoholic beverages in the state budget and more than 88 million hryvnias in local budgets. And this year, the losses of budgets of territorial communities from the ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages (except beer) will amount to 48 million hryvnias.
Koval recalled that the Rivne region now plays a backward role.
“It is important for us to fill the budget in all legal ways. The economy must work for the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” he concludes.
Recall that from April 1, Kyiv again allowed the sale of alcohol during the day. The ban on the sale of alcohol in the capital is in effect from March 1.
