Budapest and Vienna still maintain prohibitions on military aid to Kyiv.

During the 180 days of Ukraine’s defense against Russian aggression, Austria and Hungary did not transfer a single weapon to Kyiv. This is what the head of the domestic Foreign Ministry, Dmitry Kuleba, said on the air of the telethon on Monday, August 22.

“Except for Hungary and Austria, as a neutral country, today for a single European country the supply of weapons to Ukraine is not a taboo, even if it is. Therefore, the question is not that they (the countries of the EU, – ed .) are against it, the question is when they are in favor, but on the practical plane, many different things, arguments and discussions will appear,” said the minister.

At the same time, the diplomat emphasized that the daily discussion of partners about military assistance to Ukraine is worth the heavy losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front.

Remember, earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced the transfer to Ukraine of the IRIS-T air defense system and the COBRA counter-battery radar in the near future.

In the Czech Republic, they got almost $ 1 million for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
