On Monday, August 22, Russian troops fired about 80 machine-gun rounds into the territory of the border communities of the Shostka district of the Sumy region. This was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Dmitry Zhivitsky.
“About 18 pm, a mortar was fired in the community of Seredino-Budskaya – 2 arrivals and 3 shots of lighting projectiles. A fire broke out not far from the city, again near treatment facilities, this is the second time in a month . . ,” Zhivitsky wrote.
According to preliminary information, no one was killed or damaged. The consequences of the fire have been clarified.
It can be recalled that on Saturday, August 20, more than 40 gunshots were fired in the region.
