Early next week, a plan to create a mission in European countries where the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be trained may be approved.
The European Union is considering the possibility of organizing a training and assistance mission for the Ukrainian military in neighboring countries. This is what the head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrell said at a press conference Quo Vadis Europe.
“Not in Ukraine, but in neighboring countries that already have training missions. I hope it will be approved,” he said.
Borrell noted that the proposal will be discussed next week in Prague at a meeting of the EU Council of Ministers.
It was previously reported that more than a thousand Ukrainian military personnel are being trained in Britain.
