In addition to Ukraine, the leaders discussed the situation in the Middle East, including negotiations on a nuclear deal with Iran and its behavior in the region.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, US President Joe Biden, French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson called for an early visit by IAEA representatives to the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, the German government reported.

The leaders of the four countries spoke by phone on Sunday. In particular, they agreed that support for Ukraine in defense against Russian aggression will continue for a long time.

In addition, the leaders discussed the situation in the Middle East, including negotiations on a nuclear deal with Iran and its behavior in the region.

Recall that due to Russia’s shelling, the Zaporozhye NPP operates with the risk of violating radiation and fire safety standards, Energoatom said.
