Russian intelligence agencies have created two puppet governments in case Kyiv is occupied, The Washington Post notes.
Ahead of a full-scale war in Ukraine, Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) is preparing two puppet governments in case Kyiv is captured. This was reported by The Washington Post.
The FSB worked closely with known collaborators and set up at least two pro-Russian governments “in anticipation” of Kyiv being seized after February 24, according to a media investigation.
The main “allies” of the FSB are the fugitive president Viktor Yanukovych and MP Viktor Medvedchuk, who are suspected of treason. The last edition called “an oligarch who became one of the leaders of the main pro-Russian party in Ukraine after establishing close relations” with the head of the ruling regime of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
The investigation also said Yanukovych led a group that met in Belarus in early March. Journalists suggest that his goal is to try to regain power in Kyiv.
The second group, which includes former members of the Party of Regions, gathered in the temporarily occupied territories of southern Ukraine, the media added.
Remember, on June 20, the Eighth Administrative Court of Appeal satisfied the claim of the Ministry of Justice to ban the activities of the Opposition Platform – For Life party.
However, HLE filed an appeal against the court’s decision to ban the activity.
