The shortage of goods in Russian stores will be felt in the coming months. Local producers are unlikely to replace some of the positions.

Russian stores expect a shortage of plumbing, construction chemicals, tools and engineering equipment. Meanwhile, existing stocks are being sold. Kommersant wrote about it.

The reason for the impending shortage is EU sanctions, logistical difficulties, and the deteriorating epidemiological situation in China.

Market participants expect local producers to replace part of the positions. However, Russian companies are experiencing difficulties in purchasing raw materials.

The publication states that the shortage of goods will be felt in the coming months.

It was previously reported that Finnish telecommunications company Nokia has ceased its activities in Russia. Nokia noted that by the end of 2021, Russia will be worth less than 2% of the company’s net sales.

Meanwhile, it was learned that Belarus is in danger of destroying the entire sector of the economy. This concern was expressed by the Minister of Economy of Belarus Alexander Chervyakov.
