At the request of the prosecutors of the Prosecutor General’s Office, the property of media enterprises, owned by a People’s Deputy of Ukraine, suspected of treason and aiding the aggressor state, was seized and transferred to the management of ARMA. The estimated value of this property is more than 10 million hryvnias. This was announced on August 18 by the Office of the Attorney General.
Earlier, at the request of the prosecutors, the corporate rights of the enterprises owned by the representative of the people and the funds placed in his bank accounts, totaling 8 million hryvnias, have been arrested and transferred to WEAPON.
Currently, work is underway to identify other property and assets of the People’s Deputy of Ukraine.
The People’s Deputy of Ukraine is suspected of high treason and aiding the aggressor state. He hides in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region and cooperates with representatives of the aggressor state. The suspect has been placed on the wanted list.
Pretrial investigation in criminal proceedings under the procedural guidelines of the Office of the Prosecutor General is conducted by DBR investigators.
