The nuclear power plant in Energodar should be “immediately allowed” for inspection by the IAEA, believes Jens Stoltenberg.

“The seizure of the Zaporizhzhya NPP by Russian forces poses a serious threat to the security of this facility, increases the risk of an incident or accident and endangers the population of neighboring countries and the international community as a whole,” Stoltenberg said at a joint press conference with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić at NATO headquarters in Brussels.
The Secretary General of NATO added that “it is necessary to immediately allow the inspection by the International Atomic Energy Agency and ensure the withdrawal of all Russian forces.”
Earlier, the head of the IAEA, Rafael Mariano Grossi, repeatedly expressed his willingness to send a mission to the ZNPP to evaluate the situation there.
According to the estimates of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Energoatom, the situation with the militarization of the nuclear power plants of the invaders continues to deteriorate.
