The former law enforcement officer headed the pseudo-prosecutor’s office of the Starobelsky district of the “LNR”, and the deputy and secretary of the Novopskovo village council took the position of “deputy head of the administration of the LPR.”
The head of the occupation prosecutor’s office and the pseudo-official of the “LNR” were notified of the suspicion of collaborationism. This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
According to the investigation, the citizen, who until 2014 worked in the prosecutor’s office of the Luhansk region and remained in the temporarily occupied territory, headed the pseudo-prosecutor’s office of the Starobelsky district of the “LPR”, and the deputy and secretary of the village council of Novopskovskiy took the position of the so-called “deputy head of the administration of the LPR”.
“They organize and ensure the work of pseudo-structures. The head of the labor prosecutor’s office recruits personnel among local populations, legalizes the law of the so-called LPR, and also coordinates the work to identify the pro-Ukrainian citizens. The pseudo-official performs organizational, administrative and administrative functions in an illegal authority,” the message said.
Earlier, the SBU reported the suspicion of another group of collaborators. Among the suspects is a former city council deputy from the Opposition Platform for Life, who was appointed “deputy head of administration” of the temporarily occupied Svatovsky district.
It was also reported that a potential “Gauleiter” of the Cherkasy region was detained. A local representative tried to flee from Ukraine to the United States.
