Wheat will be used to solve the world’s food crisis. Washington encouraged other countries to follow suit.
The US will allocate $68 million to the World Food Program to buy Ukrainian wheat for countries in need. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken tweeted this on August 17.
It was learned that the grain would be used to solve the food crisis.
“We are committed to maintaining global food security for the most vulnerable and we call on all countries to follow suit,” Blinken said.

It will be recalled that on July 22, an agreement was signed in Istanbul on the launch of a “grain corridor” from Ukraine. So far, 17 ships with 475,000 tons of agricultural products have left Ukrainian ports.
