The destruction of the invaders’ logistics, their ammunition, equipment and command posts saves the lives of our people, the head of state insisted.
Ukrainians living in the occupied regions of eastern and southern Ukraine, as well as in Crimea, must stay away from military installations and Russian army positions in the near future. The said appeal was made by President Volodymyr Zelensky on the evening of Tuesday, August 16.
“Every day and every night we see new reports of explosions in the territory temporarily occupied by the invaders. Today I ask all our people in Crimea, other regions in the south of the state, in the occupied area of Donbass and Kharkiv region to be very careful. Please do not approach the military facilities of the Russian army and all the places where they store ammunition and equipment, where they keep their headquarters,” said the head of state.
According to him, the reasons for what is happening now in Crimea “may be different,” but these events have the same meaning.
“The destruction of the invaders’ logistics, their ammunition, military and other equipment, command posts saves the lives of our people. The less chance the invaders have to do bad things and kill Ukrainians , the faster we can end this war with the liberation of Our land. And these days turn to leave from Crimea to Russia across the bridge proves that the majority of citizens of the terrorist state understand that or at least feel that Crimea is not a place for them,” explained the president.
Finally, Zelensky expressed gratitude to the Ukrainians who helped the Ukrainian army and security forces, calling what is happening in Ukraine “a war for the liberation of people, a struggle of all Ukraine for freedom and freedom for our state.”
Recall that now in the north of Crimea, near Dzhankoy, exactly one week after the attack on the Saki airport, a series of explosions took place in the ammunition depot of the Russian invaders. As a result, among other things, the railroad was damaged, and the invaders stopped the trains.
A few hours later, it became known about the explosions at the Russian military base in the village of Gvardeyskoye near Simferopol.
After the incident, a state of emergency of a regional nature was introduced on the peninsula.
