Rashists today, August 16, from the territory of Belarus, fired missiles at the Zhytomyr region.
The blow was inflicted on a military airfield. This was announced today, July 16, by the public relations service of the Center air command.
The Rashists raised planes from the territory of Belarus and, trying to disguise aviation activity as training flights, launched a missile strike with two X-59 guided air missiles, presumably from Su-34 fighter-bombers, the report says.
As a result, the airfield runway and several vehicles were damaged.
The personnel were in the shelter, so they were not injured, the Center notes.
Recall that yesterday, on August 15, the monitoring group “Belarusian Gayun”, which monitors military activity in Belarus, warned of preparations for a powerful missile attack on Ukraine.
