Excises on fuel want to return the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. Prime Minister Denys Shmihal submitted a relevant draft law to the Verkhovna Rada. The document suggests people’s deputies to cancel preferential taxation on fuel.
A government bill registered in Parliament proposes to restore the excise tax rate on motor gasoline, heavy distillates and other petroleum products, liquefied gas, butane, isobutane in the amount of 100 euros per thousand liters.
Currently, preferential VAT on fuel is 7% instead of 20%.
Recall that some networks of gas stations have adjusted fuel prices after the decision of the NBU to increase the dollar to UAH 36.6.
Earlier, the Rada adopted a law providing for a simplified taxation system for large businesses, the abolition of excises on fuel and a reduction in VAT, the exemption of individual entrepreneurs from paying a single social contribution, and so on.
