Russian President Vladimir Putin said that many samples of Russian weapons are decades ahead of their foreign counterparts. He said this on Monday, August 15, at the opening of the Army-2022 forum in the Moscow region, according to Russian media.
Putin also noted that Russia has “many allies and like-minded people on different continents.”
Also, according to him, Russia is ready to “offer allies and partners” various weapons, from small arms to armored vehicles and artillery, aviation and UAVs.
In addition, Putin reiterated that allegedly the weapons of the Russian Federation are decades ahead of their foreign counterparts.
The Russian leader also commented on the war in Ukraine, saying that the Russian military “clearly fulfills all assigned tasks.”
“In the course of a special military operation, our soldiers, together with the ‘Donbas fighters’, honorably fulfill their duty, fight for Russia, for peaceful life in the ‘Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics’, it is clear that fulfilling all the tasks set, step by step to liberate the ‘land of Donbass’ – said Putin.
He also spoke of the need to “react harshly to attempts to falsify history, counter neo-Nazism, Russophobia and racism.”
Earlier it was reported that Putin, during a trip to Iran in July, agreed to the supply of several hundred Iranian drones, including combat ones, to the Russian Federation.
