President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree establishing an Advisory Council for the de-occupation and reintegration of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. This was reported on the website of the head of state on Monday, August 15.
The document states that an advisory body under the president was created as part of the Strategy for the De-occupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territory of the Peninsula, which was adopted on March 24, 2021.
Among the tasks of the Advisory Council is to make proposals on the activities of the Crimean Platform, issues of restoring the territorial integrity of Ukraine, protecting the rights and interests of Ukrainians, overcoming the consequences and addressing the damage caused by Ukraine and citizens.
The President approved the membership of the Advisory Council. He is also its chairman, and the secretary is the permanent representative of the head of state in Crimea. Now this position is held by Tamila Tasheva.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelensky created a group to develop a mechanism for the implementation of damages from Russia.
And on the eve of Zelensky announced the active completion of August. According to him, Kyiv is constantly communicating with partners to expand the anti-war coalition as much as possible.
