The head of the Latvian Ministry of Defense stressed that the support for Kyiv by the Western countries should not stop until the complete de-occupation.

Latvia has given four helicopters to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This was announced by the Minister of Defense of Latvia Artis Pabriks on his Twitter account.

“The Ukrainian Air Force has received only four helicopters donated by Latvia, which will soon be included in the fleet of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the Latvian official said.

He said that the support for Ukraine by the Western countries should not stop until the state of Ukraine frees its entire territory from the Russian invaders.

Notably, the President of Latvia, Egils Levits, said that the government should review the issued residence permits and visas, and cancel them for those who support the Russian military invasion.

In addition, the Latvian Seimas declared Russia a sponsor of terrorism and called on the EU to immediately suspend the issuance of visas to Russians and Belarusians. Latvia became the first country in the world to declare Russia a sponsor of terrorism.
