The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated the Poles on the Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland. Zelensky recorded a video message to the people of Poland on this occasion.
“Our people have come a long way and they have finally reached the greatest agreement in history on the main issue for Ukrainians and Poles. This is the issue of freedom. Only together we can protect the freedom of our states – for future generations. I congratulate you on the Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland! And I wish you one thing with all my heart – a speedy victory. Glory to Poland! Glory to Ukraine!” – said the President of Ukraine.

Recall that at the military cemetery in Warsaw on Sunday, August 14, Polish President Andrzej Duda paid tribute to the soldiers of the Ukrainian People’s Republic.
Earlier, the president of Poland, visiting the exhibition “Warsaw-Mariupol – the city of ruins, the city of struggle, the city of hope,” said that the atrocities of the Russians in Mariupol were comparable on the actions of the Nazis in Warsaw during World War II.
