The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine reported that in 2022 the number of buying and selling transactions will reach 13% of last year’s figures.
In the second quarter of 2022, notaries conducted purchase and sale transactions for 20,477 real estate objects. The number of transactions reached 13% of last year’s figures. This was confirmed by the indicators of the Ministry of Justice on Monday, August 15.
The report says that notaries conducted a few more transactions for this period for the purchase and sale of land plots – 11,060. This is almost 16% of last year’s numbers for the second quarter.
4917 notaries are currently working in Ukraine, at the time the Russian Federation invaded Ukraine in February there were 6560.
Note that the Dnieper city council decided to reduce taxes on land and real estate.
In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers does not plan to raise taxes in Ukraine, but in the event of a prolonged war, it will restore the taxation system in effect until February 24.
