One of the deputies expressed the opinion that it was cynical to plan a children’s drawing competition in Moscow when children were dying in Ukraine due to Russian military actions.
The municipal representatives of the Krasnoselsky district of Moscow, in the course of discussing the plan for social and educational work with the population, came to the conclusion that Russia had become a fascist state.
Thus, one of the representatives said he refused to vote for the relevant plan, citing that it would be a mockery to hold dance competitions and children’s drawing competitions in this situation.
“The grandchildren and great-grandchildren of the participants in World War II are now thrown into the heat of the battle on the territory of Ukraine. I believe that all efforts of civil society should be aimed only at stopping the war and removing of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine, “said the deputy.
At the same time, only one of the representatives present objected that the competition of children’s drawings had nothing to do with it. Other speakers also condemned the war in Ukraine.
As a result, the head of the municipal assembly Elena Kotenochkina admitted that Russia had become a fascist state:
– Officials arranged victory days for themselves, and what led to … the formation of a fascist state …
– You mean Ukraine?
– Russia, I mean Russia.
Earlier, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov admitted that Russia “has huge losses of troops,” and also expressed the hope that the war in Ukraine will end in the coming days or in the near future – based on the outcome of either combat or negotiations.
