Almost daily, DTEK power engineers restore power grids in the community of Bakhmut that have been damaged by enemy shearing.
Over the past 24 hours, DTEK’s emergency teams have restored light to the homes of 7,000 families in 13 settlements of the Donetsk region, according to the company’s website on Sunday, August 14.
The main energy effort was focused on the community of Bakhmut, which was subject to constant shelling by the Russian invaders. Despite this, DTEK emergency crews were able to restore power almost every day. Thus, another 5,000 households were cured during the day.
They also immediately restored the networks that were destroyed after the shelling of the Slavic communities, Selidov and Maryinsk.
About 95 settlements of Donbass remain without electricity.
The most difficult areas are Bakhmutskoye, Avdeevskoye, Maryinskoye, Velikonovoselkovskoye, Volnovakha, Nikolskoye, Limanskoye, Slavyanskoye and Toretskoye.
A day earlier, DTEK power engineers restored electricity to 5,000 families in 8 settlements in the Donetsk region.
