The Cabinet proposed to remove the preferential tax on fuel

The government has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a draft law on the abolition of preferential taxation on fuel.

The Cabinet of Ministers plans to remove the preferential tax on fuel. The corresponding bill was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmihal.

Note that there is no text on the Rada website yet.

According to MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, according to his information, the bill provides for: the return of excise tax for all types of fuel without exception; VAT refund on fuel up to 20%.

Now the VAT is 7%.

Recall that in July, the average price of autogas at Ukrainian gas stations decreased by 27% (10.37 UAH/l) – to 28.97 UAH/l.

And prices for other types of fuel rose after the decision of the National Bank to raise the official rate of the dollar, which caused an increase in rates in the cash market, but this week the quotations are falling.
