Fighting the Russian invaders is exhausting and requires the military to exert maximum physical and moral effort, Sirsky said.
The Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel-General Alexander Syrsky, refuted the claims of Russian propagandists about the “lightning-fast advance” of the invaders in Donbas. This is stated in the message of the Joint Forces on Facebook.
Thus, Sirsky, who works in the most difficult area of defense, spoke about the real situation at the front and emphasized that the victories of the invaders, described in the propaganda media, were imaginary.
“The Russian media operates freely using the names of the supposedly captured settlements. This, in other words, is not true, and the occupying forces cannot boast of real victories,” he said.
Syrsky stressed that heavy fighting continues in eastern Ukraine. He added that the fight against the Russian invaders was exhausting and required the military to exert maximum physical and moral effort.
“But it is necessary to be critical of hasty statements, especially of bad sources of information, and believe in our heroes,” the commander of the Ground Forces emphasized.
The summary of the General Staff states that the enemy suffered the greatest losses in the directions of Bakhmut and Krivoy Rog. The previous day, it was reported that in the direction of Pokrovskoye – Bakhmut, the enemy had a partial success, trying to gain a foothold.
Earlier, the General Staff reported in which direction the Russian invaders were trying to attack.
According to the Institute for the Study of War, Russia has a serious problem with the formation of volunteer battalions. At the same time, those who were able to recruit were immediately thrown into battle.
