The mechanism for implementing the court’s decision on banning a political party in terms of transferring its property to state ownership is determined.
The Cabinet of Ministers at a meeting on August 12 approved the procedure for transferring the property of banned political parties to state ownership. This was announced by the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.
In particular, the procedure for the transfer to state ownership of property, funds and other assets of a political party banned by the court, regional organizations, cities, districts, major organizations and others its structural entity has been approved.
The document specifies the mechanism for implementing the court’s decision to ban a political party in terms of transferring its property to state ownership.
Recall that the activities of more than 10 pro-Russian parties have been banned in Ukraine, including the Opposition Platform for Life, Party of Sharia, Opposition Bloc, Socialists, PSPU of Natalia Vitrenko, Communist Party of Ukraine, and others. .
