The Russian invaders significantly slowed down their progress on the front compared to the beginning of the war.
Residents of Nikolaev should not have reasons for concern. The enemy, in order to capture the city, had to move towards it for several months. This was announced on Thursday, August 11 by the head of the Nikolaev military administration, Vitaly Kim, Suspіlne reports.
“At the beginning of the war, the Russians advanced about 45 kilometers a day. Now, for example, in Donbass they advance 10 kilometers every two months. The front line from Nikolaev is 45 kilometers,” explained Kim.
“That is, even under the worst scenario, Russian soldiers will only have to go to the city for a few months. Therefore, now there is no threat of a siege of Nikolaev, as it is,” he emphasized.
Let’s remind, Russian troops during 168 days of invasion did not fire on Nikolaev for only 22 days.
Earlier it was reported that a large database of potential collaborators was collected in the Nikolaev region, which will be further developed.
