At the same time, the head of state called on the world to immediately respond to the shelling of the ZNPP by Russian troops. He also emphasized the need for a complete and speedy withdrawal of the Russian occupiers from the station.
“Russia has struck again in the history of world terrorism. No one else has used a nuclear power plant that is a clear threat to the whole world and put some conditions.
Absolutely everyone in the world should immediately react to expel the invaders from the ZNPP territory. This is a global interest, not just a Ukrainian need.
Only the complete withdrawal of the Russians from the Zaporozhye NPP and the restoration of Ukraine’s full control over the situation around the plant will guarantee the restoration of nuclear safety throughout Europe,” Zelensky said.
Recall that the Russian invaders fired again at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. Five “arrivals” were recorded in the area of the station commandant’s office – next to the welding site and the storage of radiation sources.

Last week, the commander of the Russian garrison at the ZNPP announced that it was a mine and was ready to detonate it.
