The Ministry of Defense, together with the SBU, works to prevent and combat the leakage of important military information, especially through the media and other public communications. This is what Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar said.
According to him, the leakage of this type of information frustrates the plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, because the enemy corrects his actions and uses this information against Ukraine.
“Recently, the SBU discovered that an interview with a high-ranking military official in a well-known publication contains information that, by some indicators, reveals information about the content of strategic (operational) plans for on the use of the Armed Forces of Ukraine , issues of training, organization of combat operations. An investigation is being conducted into this fact in the manner prescribed by law,” said Malyar.
It will be remembered that the former deputy head of the Main Intelligence Directorate gave classified data to the occupiers about the activities carried out by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Earlier it was reported that a Russian spy in the structure of the SBU was exposed in the Kharkiv region.
