A temporary bulk Romanovsky bridge has been opened in the Kiev region. This was announced on Monday, March 11, by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko.

“Irpen, Bucha, Gostomel, Vorzel – a temporary bulk bridge in Romanovka was opened today, connecting the cities in Kiev … The length of the bulk temporary bridge is 245 m, the width is 9 m. More than 9,000 tons. of the bulk of the materials used for its construction, “Tymoshenko wrote in the Telegram.

According to him, the work lasted five days and was carried out around the clock. More than 50 people, more than 40 pieces of equipment – excavators, bulldozers, graders, loaders, rollers were involved in the process of restoring the bridge.

From now on, the delivery of humanitarian aid and building materials to cities liberated from Russian occupation will be faster.

As you know, the bridge on Romanovka connects Irpen with Kiev. During the active fighting in the Kiev region, citizens were evacuated, in particular, through this bridge, but it was blown up by the Russian occupiers.

The fact that a temporary bridge will be built at the exit from Irpen to Kyiv was found out on April 4. This was stated by the mayor of Irpin Alexander Markushin.
