The Russian army tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Bakhmut, Kodema, Spirne, Yakovlevka and Soledar, but were forced to withdraw, as well as in the direction of Avdeevka and Peski. This was reported on the evening of August 10 by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the Kharkiv direction, Russian war criminals actively conducted aerial reconnaissance with drones, and also made significant efforts to improve logistical support.
In order to improve the tactical situation, the invaders conducted assault operations in the areas of the settlements of Udy, Petrovka and Gusarovka. The Ukrainian soldiers inflicted significant losses on the invaders and forced them to flee back, the General Staff said in a statement.
At Bolshaya Kamyshevakha, the invaders tried to break through the defenses of our troops, but they were not successful and retreated.
In the direction of Donetsk, in order to oust Ukrainian units from the occupied lines, the enemy used cannon, rocket artillery and tanks. In the Bakhmut direction, the invaders fired artillery at civilian infrastructure near Bakhmut, Bakhmutsky, Soledar, Yakovlevka and Vershina and launched air strikes near Yakovlevka, Disputable, Soledar, Bakhmut, Zaitsev, Vershina and Veselo.
