The head of state believes that only heavy losses will force the occupying country to stop fighting in Ukraine.
The time of the end of the war in Ukraine depends on two factors. This is what President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his video message published on his Telegram channel on Wednesday, August 10.
He noted that the question that worries every Ukrainian whopper is when the war will end. The head of state believes that he directly depends on the issue of losses.
“The more losses the invaders have, the faster we can liberate our land and guarantee the security of Ukraine. Everyone who defends our land and helps Ukraine should think about this. How to cause greater losses to the invaders to shorten the time of the war? If almost 43 thousand dead Russian soldiers can’t convince the Russian leadership that they need to find a way out of the war, which means they still have to fight, they need more results,” said the president his opinion.
Zelensky emphasized that at the meeting in Copenhagen, which will be held on Thursday, August 10, it is planned to discuss additional support for Ukraine. He added that it was about weapons.
The more weapons Ukraine receives, the more financial and technical support, the faster Ukrainians and Europeans will feel peace and stability in life, the head of state summed up.
It was earlier reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin accepted Indonesia’s invitation to take part in the G20 summit in November, which Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is also expected to attend.
As Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Presidential Chamber, said, Zelensky may attend the autumn G20 summit if Putin is present.
At the same time, Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi said that Indonesia will not include Putin’s personal presence at the G20 summit on November 15-16.
