The victims of the Russian invasion of Ukraine were 4232 civilians, 1793 of them were killed. The said data was provided by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights on Sunday, April 10.
“The actual numbers are higher because information has been delayed from some areas where there has been intense fighting, and many reports are still awaiting confirmation,” the organization said.
According to confirmed UN data, 458 men, 294 women, 46 men and 27 women died. At the same time, the gender of 69 children and 899 adults is still unknown.
Among the 2,439 injured were 47 women and 46 men, as well as 136 children whose gender has not yet been determined.
It should be noted that compared to OHCHR data for the previous day, three children died on the day, and 14 more were injured.
As reported, on April 10, Ukrainian law enforcement authorities confirmed the deaths of 1,222 residents of the Kiev region who died as a result of the Russian military aggression.
