The largest number of registrations of old cars, which switched to Ukrainian numbers in July, was issued in the Lviv region.
Almost 45.8 thousand used cars were added to the Ukrainian fleet in July, which is 16% less than in the past. This was reported by the Association of Automobile Manufacturers of Ukraine Ukravtoprom.
It was noted that of this amount, 10% fell on cars less than five years old, 15% – cars from six to 10 years old, and 75% of cars were manufactured more than 10 years ago.
At the same time, the largest number of registrations of used cars, which moved to Ukrainian numbers in July, was issued in the Lviv region – 14% of the total.
“Volyn registration received 11% of cars. The third result in the Rivne region was 8% of registrations of custom-cleared passenger cars with mileage,” the report said.
According to the association, in July, Ukrainians often registered used cars imported from abroad:

VOLKSWAGEN Passat – 2.8 thousand units;

VOLKSWAGEN Golf – 2.7 thousand units;

RENAULT Megane – 2.2 thousand units;

SKODA Octavia – 1.7 thousand units;

FORD Focus – 1.3 thousand units.
“In total, since the beginning of this year, 310.2 thousand used passenger cars have been registered in Ukraine, which is almost a quarter more than in the same period last year,” the association concluded.
Recall that in June 2.9 thousand new cars were sold in Ukraine. This is 14% higher than May this year, but 67% lower than the same month last year.
Earlier it was reported that in Ukraine in July the registration of new passenger cars increased by 26% compared to June – 3648 cars.
