On Sunday, August 7, Russian troops opened fire again on the borders of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions. About 60 arrivals were recorded. This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.
The invaders occupied four communities of Sumy region and two communities of Chernihiv region with mortars, self-propelled guns and cannon artillery. 20 arrivals of 120-mm mines, seven arrivals from mortar and cannon artillery, and 32 arrivals from self-propelled guns were recorded.
“As a result of shelling, private areas and civilian infrastructure, farming, a hangar with agricultural machinery was damaged. There was also damage to the electricity grid,” said the State Border Guard Service.
Let us remind you, earlier it was reported that the Russians shelled five communities in the Sumy region. Belopolskaya, Burinskaya, Esmanskaya, Novoslobodskaya and Seredino-Budskaya settlements burned.
