“The second caravan with Ukrainian food just left the ports of Odessa and Chornomorsk – three ships from Chornomorsk and another from Odessa,” the statement said.
It was learned that nearly 170,000 tons of agricultural products were on board the four bulk carriers. These vessels were sent to the ports of Italy, China and Turkey.
“After the ports organize the organization of the first caravan, we are gradually reaching large volumes of work. We plan to give the ports the ability to handle at least 100 ships per month in the near future. We also plan to fully join the Yuzhny port in the near future. even larger caravans of ships, at least up to three million tons per month, – said the Minister of Infrastructure Alexander Kubrakov.
According to the Turkish Ministry of National Defense, the bulk carriers will be anchored north of Istanbul and will be inspected by the Joint Coordination Center.
It was earlier reported that the joint coordination center in Istanbul allowed four more cargo ships with 162,000 tons of grain to leave Ukrainian ports.
Recall that the Navistar ship under the flag of Panama arrived in Istanbul – the first dry cargo ship from the caravan, which left Ukraine the day before.
