The joint coordination center in Istanbul allowed four more cargo ships with 162,000 tons of grain to leave Ukrainian ports. This was announced on Saturday, August 6, by the UN press service.
As indicated, the grain corridor will continue to operate on August 7.
“The SKC has authorized the passage of five new ships through the maritime humanitarian corridor as part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative. Four ships will leave Chornomorsk and Odessa, they will carry 161,084 tons of food, and one ship is headed for Ukraine,” the message said.
Clarified that ships are allowed to leave Ukrainian ports:

Glory with a cargo of 67 thousand tons of corn (bound for Istanbul);

Star Helena with a cargo of 45,000 tons of food (bound for Nantong, China);

Riva Wind with 44 thousand tons of corn (to Iskanderun, Turkey);

Mustafa Necati with 6 thousand tons of sunflower oil (to Monopoli, Italy).
All ships will be inspected in Turkey within established procedures, the UN said.
At the same time, the Osprey S, anchored near Istanbul, received permission to arrive at the port of Chernomorsk.
As reported, the previous day, the Navistar ship with the flag of Panama arrived in Istanbul – the first dry cargo ship from the caravan, which left Ukraine the day before.
