The Volyn authorities have drawn up a plan for the evacuation of citizens in case of an offensive from Belarus.
Sergey Movenko, the first deputy head of the regional military administration, told the Public about this.
The details of the evacuation plan, the deputy says, are top secret. Earlier, a similar plan was reported by the authorities of the neighboring and also border Rivne region.
If necessary, first of all, the evacuation plan will concern the border areas with Belarus: Kamen-Kashirsky and Kovelsky. In particular, those communities that are located directly on the border with the Republic of Belarus.
If, God forbid, there is a direct invasion, there is a plan discussed at a meeting of the evacuation commission,” Movenko noted.
According to him, the heads of communities and district military administrations know how to act.
The leaders of the communities and district military administrations know about the evacuation routes, where the transport will be located to transport people to a safe place.
In the event that a large-scale aggression is carried out by Belarus, there is an evacuation plan for the Volyn region. I am sure that our military will not allow this, – said the first deputy chairman of the Volyn Regional Military District.
Rakurs reported that the Belarusian army continued the May exercises until mid-August, they will be held at remote training grounds.
