The troops of the aggressor country Russia continue shelling the settlements in the Donetsk region. Five civilians were killed in the last knock alone, Pavel Kirilenko, head of the Donetsk OVA, told Telegram on Saturday morning, August 6.
“On August 5, the Russians killed five civilians in Donbass: two in Opytny, one in Avdiivka, one in Soledar and one in Pervomaisky. Another 14 people were injured,” he said.
In total, since the beginning of a full-scale war, 690 people have died as a result of the Russian invasion of the Donetsk region, and another 1,773 civilians have been injured. These figures do not include the thousands of dead and wounded in Mariupol and Volnovakha.
It will be remembered that on the day of August 4, seven people died and nine were injured in the Donetsk region. All the dead were victims of the rebellion in Toretsk.
And the day before, the enemy fired twice at the Ship District of Nikolaev – from MLRS and long-range artillery Pion. One person died and 22 others were injured.
