At the same time, the former head of the SBU Ivan Bakanov and former Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova were removed from the Council.
“This Decree shall enter into force on the day of its publication,” the law said.
Recall that on July 19, the Verkhovna Rada dismissed Venediktova and Bakanov from their positions. The head of state explained the staffing decisions in law enforcement agencies by the fact that so many law enforcement officers went to the side of the enemy after the Russian invasion.
