On the night of August 5, the enemy shelled the Shevchenkovsky, Industrialny and Saltovsky districts of Kharkov. Residential buildings, shops, and markets were attacked. This was announced by the head of the military administration of the region, Oleg Sinegubov.
As a result of the shelling, the glass in many houses was damaged, the premises of the educational institution and playgrounds were damaged. The pyrotechnicians also seized unexploded ordnance.
Two people aged 26 and 38 and a woman aged 46 were hospitalized with injuries, all of whom were on the street at the time of the sowing. The condition of one of the men is stable and serious, he is in intensive care. The other injured were of moderate severity.
Also last night, the enemy shelled the city of Chuguev. Three rockets hit the open area of a private house, one rocket fell nearby. No one was killed.
In general, in the past day, the enemy destroyed the settlements of Kharkov, Izyum, Bogodukhovsky and Chuguevsky districts of the region. According to the regional center for emergency medical care, there were no calls for victims from these areas.
“Our defenders were freed from the invaders and took full control of the village of Dmitrovka in the Izyumsky district. At the same time, they removed a lot of enemy equipment and infantry. Also, the enemy tried to destroy our defenses near Gusarovka, Izyumsky district, but their offensive ended in another complete failure. The enemy retreated with defeat.
