Ships that have received approval to pass through the maritime humanitarian corridor will leave Ukraine on the morning of August 5.
The joint coordinating center within the framework of the Black Sea Grain Initiative allowed three more cargo ships with 58 tons of corn to leave Ukrainian ports. This was reported on August 4 by the UN press service.
“The dry cargo carrier Polarnet, anchored in the port of Chornomorsk, will head to Karasu, Turkey. The ship Navistar will leave the port of Odessa with corn scheduled to be unloaded in Ringaskiddy, Ireland. The dry cargo ship Rojen, anchored in Chernomorsk, will continue to British Teesport,” – clarified in SCC.
All three ships are expected to leave their ports on the morning of August 5. At the same time, the dates may be changed depending on the readiness of the crew, weather conditions and other unforeseen circumstances.
It is also planned to inspect the dry cargo ship Fulmar S, bound for Chornomorsk. The ship is currently anchored in a screening area northwest of Istanbul.
Recall that on August 2, the first ship with a cargo of Ukrainian corn arrived in Turkey as part of the grain corridor. After checking in Istanbul, the cargo ship RAZONI departed for Lebanon.
Currently, 17 ships are loaded in Ukraine, awaiting permission to leave.
