The process of establishing the export of Ukrainian grain continues – three more ships with grain should leave the Black Sea ports in the Odessa region on Friday, August 5.
This was announced by Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar on Thursday evening, writes the Turkish service of CNN.
Thanks to the hard work of the Coordinating Center, tomorrow, as part of the shipment of grain, three ships are planned to depart from the ports of Ukraine. In addition, after the check, an empty vessel from Istanbul is expected to move to Ukraine, Akar said.
According to the Turkish Minister of Defense, the empty ship will head to Ukraine after inspection in Istanbul. Note that ten ships in the ports of Odessa and Chernomorsk are already loaded with grain and are ready for shipment.
Recall that representatives of Ukraine, Turkey, the UN and Russia at the Joint Coordination Center completed the inspection of the first ship with grain, which left Ukraine on August 1. After inspection, the ship is to deliver a cargo of 26,000 tons of corn to the port of Tripoli in Lebanon.
On August 1, in the morning, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine announced that the RAZONI vessel under the flag of Sierra Leone had departed from Odessa. It was the first grain carrier since the full-scale invasion of the terrorist country, which set off from the port of Odessa.
