Due to damage to the station in Kramatorsk after shelling yesterday, it was temporarily closed, the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia reported on Saturday, April 9.
“Ukrzaliznytsia, despite the horrific enemy attack on the Kramatorsk railway station that took place on April 8, will continue to evacuate from Donbass. Donetsk and Luhansk VGAs are directing maximum efforts to evacuate the citizens, mainly children, women, the elderly, people with disabilities – now is the time to do it, because the shelling is becoming more intense.Therefore, the railroad does not abandon the task of bringing everyone to safety, “said the message.
UZ added that the evacuation will continue from Slavyansk and Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region, as well as from Novozolotarevka station in the Lugansk region.
“Looking at the growing number of attacks on civilian objects, in particular train stations, measures will be further strengthened to avoid congestion around the stations, to separate passenger flows, etc., ”UZ said.
The company also publishes in telegrams a complete list of evacuation transfers for today.
Recall that after the shelling at the Kramatorsk railway station, city residents will be evacuated by buses to the Dnieper.
As a result of the strike, 52 people died, including 5 children, nearly a hundred were hospitalized, many in serious condition.
