President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to the results of the elections to the Moldovan Parliament.
The head of state congratulated the President of Moldova on the victory of the Private Party of “Actions and Solidarity” in the parliamentary elections. Zelensky emphasized that these elections showed that Russian destabilization is losing, and Moldova wins in Europe. The president wrote about this on social networks.
Russian subversive activities, constant misinformation – nothing worked. It is important that Moldova be effective in defense against threats with everyone who helped, the report said.
The head of state added that Ukraine always supports Moldova and will work together in the future.
We will recall that in Moldova the CEC announced the victory of the ruling pro -European party of “actions and solidarity” (PAS) in the parliamentary elections that took place on September 28. This political force overcame the 50 percent barrier of voter support -50.03% of voters. Thus, PAS can get about 55 seats in a 101-seater parliament. This will allow her to create a majority.
Secondly, the pro-Russian Patriotic Bloc, led by former President Igor Dodon, who received 24.26% of the vote.
