Ukraine opened bilateral screening meetings with the European Commission in the final negotiation section. Based on the screening results, the level of readiness of Ukraine and its additional obligations will be determined and recorded as part of the EU joining process. This was reported by the Deputy Prime Minister’s office in integration of Europe and Euro-Atlantic.
We talk about Section 22 “Regional Policy and Coordination of instrument structures”. This section is the last within the resources of cluster 5 “, agriculture and a cohesion policy”.
Deputy prime minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Taras Kachka has noted that for Ukraine, regional policy is not only a technical element of negotiations, but also a restoration tool.
Separately, he emphasized the importance of implementing the Ukrainian plan as part of the Ukrainian facility and the participation of regions in programs such as Interregs, as well as the availability of ambitious initiatives of border areas, especially for the development of Carpathian Macro -region.
Within two days, specialists from Ukraine and the European Commission are considered, especially:

Legal framework within the framework of the corresponding section;

Existing programs and strategic frames;

Control, control and audit system;

Monitoring, evaluation and effectiveness;

Transparency and communication.
