The supply of weapons was fixed by the NATO Center for Security, assistance and training for Ukraine (NSATU) in German Wiesbaden.

Estonia brings 10 million euros to the prioritized Ukraine List (PURL) NATO initiative, allowing allies to buy weapons in the United States to support Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Baltic Country on Saturday, September 27.

“Thanks to the Purl initiative, European allies and partners quickly direct resources to support Ukraine, especially to strengthen its air defense, by obtaining critical air defense systems in the United States,” said Estonia’s Minister Hanno Pevurkur.

The department recalled that the Purl initiative consisted of assistance packages that would regularly go to Ukraine. Each package is approximately $ 500 million. Their delivery was fixed by NATO, in particular, by the NATO Center’s order for assistance and training for Ukraine (NSATU) in German Wiesbaden.

Earlier, the media reported that the first military equipment provided by the agreement between the United States and NATO as part of the Purl initiative arrived in Ukraine.

In this regard, President Vladimir Zelensky reported that the first two packages within the purl contain missiles for Patriot and Himars of Patriot and MLR.
