US president Donald Trump said Türkiye would not buy oil from Russia, bringing a full invasion against Ukraine. He said this at a meeting with Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the White House on September 25, which was bunched by the White House.
Trump noted that he was considering the Turkish leader of his longtime friend, and positively spoken about the cooperation of Ankara and Washington on the matter of trade.
